Tommasini Products

Senza ombra di dubbio!

For the past 10 years, Ocean Cyclery has been carrying Tommasini bicycles and Tommasini bike frames. Our love for Tommasini started when Jeff rode a Tommasini as an amateur racer. And we still feel the same way about the company and their products.

Tommasini is a family run business and produces between 2000 – 2500 frames a year. Each Tommasini is hand built in their Italian factory. They have followed the evolution of material and models over time, keeping care and attention to details through the years. Ocean Cyclery has many years of experience in carrying their bikes. The details of their craftsmanship and seizing are outstanding.

The Tecno and Sentesi are lifetime bikes, and are available at Ocean Cyclery for the same price as many other generic frame sets sold at other stores. We carry several fame sets of different models and accessories (e.g. seats, seat bags, water bottle cages, clothing and handle bar tape). The Tommasini brand can be custom fit and custom painted.

One short ride on a Tommasini and you know this bike is a thoroughbred with a long history of tradition and greatness. Click an image below for a full view of each individual bike frame, available at Ocean Cyclery.

Click the Tommasini Icon on the home page for Current Inventory and Custom Orders or see the frame sets under Shop

The Factory

Irio Tommasini has spent most of his life around bicycles.

In 1948, while still racing as an amateur, he started working on bicycles.

His building career started at an important bicycle factory in Milan where he had the opportunity to gain valuable experience and learn the techniques that enabled him in 1957, to start his own business in his home town of Grosseto.

By the end of the 60's his factory had increased domestic sales in Italy, and had begun the exportation of Tommasini frames abroad.

Even at that early period, Tommasini's frames where appreciated for their fine finishes and their true racing geometries, by then, many amateurs and professional racers had been racing and winning on Tommasini's frames.

During this time, Tommasini worked under and received guidance from his friend and mentor Giuseppe Pelà, Italy's premiere frames builder. Pelà built magnificient winning frames for many top italian and european professionits, and upon his retirement in 1972 passed on his traditions and skills to Tommasini. Tommasini has carried on these traditions and has added a few innovations along the way.

Today, Irio and his employees produce betwen 2000 and 2500 frames per year with most of them being exported throughout the world.

100% of Tommasini¹s production is completely handmade and built inside the Tommasini factory in Grosseto via Nepal.

Tommasini's production stricly follows the evolution of materials and models, keeping care and attention to details through the years.
